Overview:
Online channel shipments grew 2% YoY in February 2020, driven by Xiaomi which took 51% shipments share followed by realme which took 16% share in the online channels. Flipkart grew 15% YoY driven by realme shipments. realme continues to lead in shipments on Flipkart, driven by newly launched realme C3 and 5i. Though Amazon shipments declined 14% YoY, the e-commerce giant managed to increase its share driven by Xiaomi and Samsung models.
Offline shipments grew 18% YoY in Feb 2020 as OEMs are now shifting their focus to offline channels and not launching many online exclusive models. Samsung regained top spot in offline channel shipments driven by Galaxy A series models, mainly Galaxy A51, Galaxy A20s and A30s.
