"Volkswagen Group has now announced plans to launch 70 full-electric models over the next 10 years.
In Europe, VW's Audi brand has already launched e-tron electric SUV and Porsche will reveal the Taycan, its first electric model, in September. Over the next year, EV launches from the VW brands include a compact hatchback called the I.D. hatchback and an electric crossover called the I.D. Crozz, as well as EVs from the Skoda and Seat stable.
Keeping the Paris Agreement as the benchmark, VW has its eye on the future and making a commitment to be a zero-carbon footprint company. This is to appeal to an emerging category of environmentally responsible customers." – Vinay Piparsania
