"Chinese brands have begun to experiment with a lot of differentiated design elements, from in-display fingerprint readers, 7nm SoCs, foldable displays, six cameras, multiple notches, infinity displays to motorized pop-up camera and now dual-displays. The rate of innovation among Chinese brands has been rising rapidly as they have a strong command, scale and R&D prowess to challenge likes of Apple and Samsung. What this means is that Chinese brands like OPPO, vivo, Huawei are going for the kill especially in the premium Android space to gain mindshare and market share, especially in the high ASP Western markets after having captured Asia, India and the China market. This is great for Western operators as well to gain some exclusive models from these brands to drive differentiation." – Neil Shah
