Indian smartphone shipments grew 10% YoY and 5% MoM in April 2019. This was the third successive month in 2019 when shipments grew MoM. Chinese brands share remained at 67% in India. All the leading Chinese players shipments grew month on month due to new product launches and are also ramping up their investments in India. Some of the brands are even looking to invest in Indian startups along with scaling up their R&D.
